Martinique Carnival

A major island celebration with colourful street parades, music and costumes. The main festivities take place from the Saturday before Lent through Ash Wednesday in Fort-de-France. Highlights include the queens’ parade, Vaval, the burlesque wedding, the Red Devils and the black-and-white
finale.
